
Here’s how to take care of your piece.
Rinse
To clean a board, start by rinsing it under warm water, ensuring both sides are wet. If you only rinse the top of the board, it will swell and warp.
Wash
Using the soft side of a sponge and gentle soap, scrub your board clean, focusing on any knife scratches or cracks where food can reside. For deep stains, rub them away with baking soda.
Dry
Wipe down the board using a clean cloth or paper towel, removing excess water. Let your board fully air-dry overnight before storing it away.
DO NOT put in a dishwasher!
To sanitize please use white vinegar or apple cider vinegar. Saturate with cutting board oil afterward, according to jar directions.
All boards have been treated with Walrus™ brand cutting board oil and are food-safe.
